TCAA Invites Applications for Air and Ground Handling Services Licences
The Authority stated that the regulated services under its mandate include air transport services, aeronautical airport services (such as airside operations, ground handling, in-flight catering, and fuelling), and air navigation services.

Dar es Salaam – The Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) has issued a public notice inviting applications for air services and ground handling services licences, including renewals and new applications.
According to the notice, the TCAA Licensing Board will hold its meeting on 6 November 2025 to consider the applications. New applicants, operators whose licences expire between November and December 2025, as well as those seeking variations to their licences, have been urged to submit their applications for consideration.
The Authority stated that the regulated services under its mandate include air transport services, aeronautical airport services (such as airside operations, ground handling, in-flight catering, and fuelling), and air navigation services.
In line with the regulations, applications for renewal of air services licences must comply with the Tanzania Civil Aviation (Licensing of Air Services) Regulations, 2006, specifically regulations 8(3), 25(3), and 25(6). Applications for ground handling services licences are required to comply with the Civil Aviation (Ground Handling Services) Regulations, 2012, regulations 6 and 7.
Furthermore, new applications for air services licences must comply with regulations 8(2) and 8(3) of the 2006 regulations.
Application forms and copies of the relevant regulations are available at the TCAA Headquarters, Aviation House, Banana – Ukonga, or can be downloaded from the official website: www.tcaa.go.tz.
All applications, with the required enclosures and proof of payment of the applicable fees, must be submitted by 5 September 2025 at 15:30 hours.
